James chose the University of Iowa because it gave him opportunities that other places would not have, all while being close to his home.
He loves being in the Dance Marathon. "I've found many friends through DM but also have found a purpose in fighting for the kids at Stead."
One of his most memorable moments here was when his professor bought the class pizza to eat after their midterm exam.
He advises prospective students to go out and take advantage of the opportunities that Iowa provides!
